How to Richen Idle Mixture?

Thank for the input again. It seems my idle is OK since it soes scan back and forth when off the gas at idle and 2 into the rich at WOT and always rich when on the gas. My problem seems to occur because of the extreme lean spot when I let off the gas to shift (meter races off the scale- lean). Then after the shift when the clutch is engaged and I get on the throttle, I get a SLIGHT "ping" for the small duration it takes the mixture to get back into the "rich". Can anything be done to eliminate this lean spot?

Check the fuel pressure with the vaccuum line disconnected from the JR FPR. It should be around 60psi.

You are going to go lean right as you shift. When your foot comes off the gas to shift, the injectors cut off. This is normal. the problem with getting back on the gas and having ping, that isn't. You may try and turn the FPR up a little, but then you might notice a slightly richer idle. See what happens, you should be okay with turning the pressure up until you get bigger injectors.
